“Dr. Ruth,” as she’s affectionately called, earned a B. A. in Secondary English from the State University College at Fredonia, NY, and an M. A. and Ed. D. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Seton Hall University, NJ. She held Principal and Chief School Administrator certification in NJ, FL and GA.
Dr. Ruth is Secretary to the Business Women’s Inspirational Network (BWIN), a member of the African American Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the TransLife Organ & Tissue Donation Center Multicultural Committee. Besides being the published author of HOODLESS KLAN and FINDING HUMOR IN GRIEF, Dr. Ruth is an editor and ghost writer, grant writer, and tutor for students in grades K-12 needing GED, college prep or grade level promotion. When she’s not writing, tutoring, or doing book readings and signings, Dr. Ruth spends quality time with her daughter, son-in-law and four grandchildren.
